Medically Assisted Reproduction (MAP)

FIV

In vitro fertilization (ivf) is an art technique which allows the spermatozoid and the egg to meeting in the laboratory. The embryo thus formed is put back into the uterus to continue its development.

Spermatozoons, floating to ovule – 3d render

ICSI
ICSI is an in vitro fertilization (ivf) technique which consists of introducing, using a very fine pipette, a single spermatozoid inside an egg in order to fertilize it.

MSOME
The msome (motile sperm organellar morphology examination) or pre-imsi test is a fine assessment of sperm morphology at high magnification using an inverted optical microscope.

AMP IN COUPLES AT VIRAL RISK
When one or both members of a couple are carriers of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) or the Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) or the Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), a special procedure must be implemented for treatment in Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI) or In Vitro Fertilization without microinjection (IVF) or In Vitro Fertilization with microinjection (ICSI) or even in cryopreservation of gametes and embryos.

This procedure aims to avoid any viral contamination of the embryo culture dishes of other couples free from these pathologies and to guarantee the health safety of the personnel handling the gametes and embryos.

Our laboratory has the premises and equipment necessary for the care of couples carrying HIV, HBV and HCV.

IUI
Intrauterine insemination It is a simple (without hospitalization) and painless technique implemented in the case of non-tubal infertility.

SPERM FREEZING
Cryopreservation of sperm is a process which allows sperm to preserve for several years for future use. the storage of sperm samples is carried out at very low temperatures (-196°c).

FREEZING EMBRYOS

This conservation is done in cases (straws) containing your identification in a very precise manner.
The straws are placed in containers, immersed in liquid nitrogen at a temperature of -196°C. At this temperature, embryos can be preserved for years.
The advantage of frozen embryos is that the procedure for preparing them for implantation is very easy and simple.

TRANSFER OF FROZEN EMBRYOS
The transfer of frozen embryos is generally preceded by a phase of preparing the endometrim so that it becomes receptive. this is a very simple procedure.
